[These are the main protagonists who head behind the scenes of the Dark Hour. ]
Club President: (Miki Ajibana)
- The Committee's current leader who is attempting to decipher the reasons behind the Dark Hour, they were the first of the party to obtain a Persona and have been receiving mysterious packages and advice from an anonymous source since January. They decide who is allowed into the club, and generally act as an all-around peacekeeper whose authority goes unquestioned. Having a good reputation, it's easy for them to snoop around and do their thing without teachers or students questioning them.
(BONUS: Begin with a Persona, a C-rank weapon and armor in your inventory, six initial increased stat ranks as well as five skills up to B-tier.)
Vice President (currently reserved by Aea)
Club Advisor (currently reserved by Libra)
Reversed
[Ex-Persona users, they may have been former friends of the Committee or simply wanderers.]- The President's best friend, they were the first to be recruited onto the team. A little more of a novice than the President but eager to help save the town, they're a secretary-like character who typically helps to try and recruit other students by scoping out those with a strong background and getting them into dormitory #1 so that they can be assimilated to the team. They're very popular with the school due to their appearance and demeanor. (BONUS: Begin with a Persona, five initial increased stat ranks, D-rank weaponry and armor and five skills up to B-tier)
Club Advisor (currently reserved by Libra)
- A Mankai teacher who supervises the dormitory the Committee stays in, the truth is that they're an ex-Kirijo scientist who noticed the presence of Shadows and was tasked with finding a group in order to pinpoint the location of origin regarding the new Dark Hour- supposedly a corrupted data file known as a Plume of Dusk. They have an apologetic personality and believe the problem is partially their fault. (BONUS: Begin with a Persona, access to B-level analysis skills (five starting skills in total), but no offensive techniques.)
Members
- Aside from the head members of the club, there are of course many places open to join! An exploring party generally consists of at least three characters- an offense frontliner, a defense backliner and an analyst to keep them in check. We need characters of all backgrounds, Arcana and ages who are willing (or unwilling) to involve themselves in these matters. These characters will begin as civilians and unlock their Persona as we go along.
Ex-Member (currently reserved by Tigermask)
- This person was a friend of the President despite being from a negative background. Once auspicious and driven, after an encounter with Shadows gone wrong they decided to run away from the team and exist on their own after hurting a close friend or family member. They dislike the concept of those with Persona in general, and are trying to get rid of their own to little avail.
Lost Soul
- A wanderer in the Dark Hour, this immune adult seems to be normal with a full-time job aside from the fact that they have a second personality constantly nagging at their mind. With no memory of their actions during the Dark Hour, they have no idea that they're wreaking as much havoc as the Shadows that cause so much trouble, or even that the Dark Hour exists to begin with.
Civilians (Students)
[Some interesting and fun youngins! All have the potential to become awakened to Persona in their own right.]
Student Council
- Perhaps the current biggest rival to the Committee's goals in the normal world is the snobbish Student Council, whose head and members see as an enemy and an uncouth force in the school body. Whether any of them are immune to the Dark Hour or not is a mystery.
Mysterious Transfer Student: (currently reserved by Swan)
- This is a Persona roleplay after all, the concept was unavoidable. This young boy, girl or otherwise is just transferring in despite classes already beginning due to just moving to Sakura-zai. Their file was mishandled before they came to town, so nobody knows what they're like.
Light Music Club
- Mankai's most popular yet exclusive student organization, this five-member group of young talent includes a composer, a keyboardist, a guitarist, a bassist and a drummer, with the vocals switching between them all. Often making music for any major town events, entering is something of a ritual that's been in the school since its start.
- The main sports club for guys, the intramural basketball team very rarely wins games due to their penchant for laziness. Unfortunately, the captain and manager are the only people who seem driven- until now.
The Badminton Team
- A spear counterpart, the girls-only badminton team is very successful at games in contrast. The problem is the lack of interest- three major players just graduated, and the poor captain is campaigning everywhere to try and find freshman replacements.
The Drama Club (Miyuki Sasazaki)
- Filled with fledgling writers and actors, the drama club is often victimized for being filled with most of the school's starving artists. Despite that, they work together to put on the best showings they can with a relatively small group, and the most passionate performers really do make the student-run shows worth it.
The Kendo and Archery Clubs (a position currently reserved by Yuki!)
- Traditional and just a bit spooky, these martial arts clubs held in the next building over have captains who never do anything but argue over which team is more talented. Anyone who legitimately wants to learn the arts is wholeheartedly invited.
That Poor Kid Running the Shrine
- Part-time jobs are generally not very swanky. You go in, you get paid, you go home. Unfortunately, this young lad or lass got roped into the role of the young "shrine caretaker", which they didn't realize was less getting to wander around the cool old temple and clean up priceless artifacts and more having to sell silly phone charms to tourists and fill out those lucky fortune strips for people. Fun.
Those not-so-poor Kids Running the Mall Cafe
- And sometimes you get the jackpot. Working in restaurants is generally a simple and not-well-paid job, but these cute waiters and waitresses are overpaid and quite happy with where they are. With a kind boss, great coffee-making skills and a lot of charm, they share their huge tips with friends.
Civilians (Adults)
[Adults! Workers, parents, and everyone else you might imagine have plenty of roles in the story as well.]
Mankai Faculty
- Between professors, student teachers and other staff, the school is filled with people worried about those struck with Apathy Syndrome. Some are closer than others to figuring it out, but most have a pretty personal relationship with each other and the students.
The Police
- Not the band. The Sakura-zai police station is up to its ears in work, and the chatty recruit detectives are not helping. Worried about the uptick in illness, injury and deaths, they rarely release the fact that they're sure these cases have nothing to do with a "syndrome" or any random chance at all.
