He is an active and outgoing young man with a lot of drive, and the confidence to match. The basketball team is a popular group within the school, attracting a fair bit of attention. As a member and the captain, Ren gets his fair share. Something he is all too happy to enjoy. As a new year starts at Mankai Academy, Ren is getting pumped up for a new season of basketball, and he hopes that this will be their season after an incredibly disappointing performance last year. But beyond basketball, who knows what else the year has in store for Ren. New friendships, new rivalries? Perhaps a new sweetheart? Or perhaps something else entirely. For the path of fate has many twists and turns, and things are not as always as simple as they seem. |
POSITIVE RUN AWAY WITH ME Being friends, or at least acquaintances, with Ren is pretty easy. He's sociable and friendly. East to get along with too, if you can mind his flaws. As a member of and the captain of the basketball team, Ren is used to attention and is used to being sociable with the various students of Mankai Academy. If somebody really wanted to be good friends with him, though, they'd have to bond in some way. Not neccesarily over his interests, but at least having a passing interest in sports is a good way to start a conversation. In fact, just being a good conversationalist who can keep his attention is a good way of getting on the fast track to being his friend. » FRIENDS OPEN » FAMILY OPEN » ACQUAINTANCES OPEN | NEGATIVE LOST SOULS AND REVERIE While he is not an inherently hostile guy, sometimes Ren rubs some people the wrong way. Or they get on his nerves. It doesn't matter, though, there are just some people who don't get along. In the case of Ren, this can be people who show up on the basketball team, but are lazy. Or it can be somebody he frequently argues with, or somebody who is constantly nagging at him over something. He's not one to back down from a fight or argument, though, so any enemies best be prepared. He welcomes adversity. » ENEMIES OPEN » RIVALS OPEN » EX-FRIENDS OPEN | ROMANCE RUNNING WILD AND RUNNING FREE Love is in the air, and like many young people, Ren has matters of love stirring in his heart. He's not new to love. He's had girlfriends before, though no one ever really serious. He crushes on girls pretty frequently, and he's known to occasionally to try and charm his way into a woman's heart with flirtatious talk. Perhaps their relationship will be little more than a fling. Perhaps he'll develop some one sided love for a girl. Or perhaps he'll find a girl who makes his heart stir, one who he can say that he's truly serious about.
