Welcome to the small town of Sakura-zai! Quickly being industrialized by the Kirijo corporation, a mysterious exposure has tainted the town and recreated the phenomenon known as the Dark Hour. With the town increasing in popularity as an academic and moving destination and dangerous beings known as Shadows invading the town by night and feeding off of negative energy, a small, undercover team of students and adults has come together in order to try and stop the oncoming threat in its tracks. |

The current season is SPRING. It's about to be the beginning of a brand new year at Mankai Academy, and it's mere weeks before the town's famous cherry tree exhibition begins to bloom. But, for now, things are still and calm as the first flowers of the season emerge from winter's grasp.
