I. Magician
Magicians are typically show-stoppers who love attention and getting to protect what's important to them and explore new places and things with others. Loud and... well, not as proud as you might think, they represent hidden potential and friendship. The Magician is personified by loyalty, comedy and confidence. Its power is strengthened by self-acceptance and dulled by self-deprecation.
II. Priestess
The card of wisdom, the Priestess is the kind of person you turn to when you have emotional problems, representing intuition. They are typically right-brained, approaching situations from unusual angles of perception and often catching others off-guard with their wide range of internal knowledge. The spear counterpart of the Empress, the Emperor takes a more head-on approach to leadership issues and represents fatherhood. They can be somewhat hot-headed and rough, but often have a merciful and more emotional side that only some see. They are personified by courage, power and determination. V. Hierophant
The Hierophant is a counterpart to the Priestess and the cart of intelligence, dealing more with the act of learning and teaching others. They are mentor figures to others, taking the lead in an advisor-like tactical position. Representing knowledge, they are personified by seriousness, reservedness and leadership. The Lovers is a hub of communication- whether that be through friendly talks, angered scolding or flirtatious banter. They are often people who have to make difficult choices and come to hard truths, but acceptance and declaration of those truths is what makes them stronger. Representing decisions, they are personified by decisiveness, flexibility and insight. Its power is strengthened by affirmation and blocked by silence.
VII. Chariot
Chariots are incredibly driven- characterized by the kind of person who never gives up, no matter the situation, often for a specific cause or somebody important to them. They are strong of heart, but often struggle with ethical issues due to their mix of power and gentleness. Representing pride, they are personified by determination, character and self-love. Its power is strengthened by selflessness and blocked by self-pity.

Justice is blind, as some say. Those with the Justice card are often those who see the world in a black-and-white fashion (Justices are most often young children, after all), believing that good people deserve blessing and the evil deserve punishment, regardless of circumstances. Fortune is a plaything of the heavens. Or, perhaps not? Those with the Fortune card often struggle with their "fate", or any known duty in life they may have. They may have a close relationship with luck, be it positive or negative. Some choose to accept their fate, while others will stop at nothing to change it. Representing the uncontrollable, they are personified by calculation, grace and mystery. Its power is strengthened by kindness and blocked by envy.

Strength, in contrast with its name, very rarely represents physical strength. The strength card is strength of heart, hence the young woman sitting peacefully with the lion. Death is not in and of itself an unlucky or destructive card. Those who hold it are subject to ever-changing circumstances, and may clamor to gain control of their lives. Devil holders can be across a wide range. The card is most often held by someone who is considered "unacceptable" by society in some way or another. Whether it's by gender identity, sexuality, class or other often discriminated trait, they often are forced into a "me against the world" mentality and have difficulty trusting others. They represent the abnormal and are personified by healthy relationships, safety and uniqueness. Its power is strengthened by friendship and blocked by separation.

Tower holders most often represent someone who is defined by something serious that happened in their past.
